Nadi Shodhana Breathwork is one of the classic pranayama practices in yoga and Ayurveda.

What It Is

• Nadi = channel or energy pathway

• Shodhana = purification or cleansing

The practice involves gently closing one nostril at a time while inhaling and exhaling through the other, creating balance in the nervous system and energy channels.

🌙 Benefits

• Balances the sympathetic & parasympathetic nervous systems

• Calms the mind, reduces anxiety and agitation

• Improves concentration and mental clarity

• Harmonizes left/right brain hemispheres

• Balances prana (life force), especially useful for Vata and Pitta imbalances

Mudras for Balance and Inner Peace

Mudras are simple hand gestures used in yoga and meditation that help guide energy flow and create a sense of harmony within the body and mind. Practiced for centuries, they are believed to support balance, calmness, and connection with your inner self.

By holding your hands in specific positions while breathing slowly, mudras can encourage:

• A gentle release of restlessness or worry

• A greater sense of calm and clarity

• Balanced energy and focus for daily life

• A deeper connection to peace and presence

Even a few minutes of practicing a mudra each day can become a mindful ritual — a way to pause, center yourself, and invite more peace into your routine.
